Privacy Policy.

What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Written in plain English.

Last updated: October 2026
In brief
  • We collect only what you send us in the contact form, plus basic technical details.
  • We use it to reply to you and to plan your job. Nothing more.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • You can ask us to see it, correct it or delete it at any time.

01Who we are

Veritex International (“Veritex”, “we”, “us”) provides independent inspection and quality assurance services for the textile and apparel industry. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and what choices you have. It should be read with our Terms of Use.

02What information we collect

We collect information in three ways.

  • What you send us in the contact form: your name, company, e-mail address, phone number, your role (for example brand, buyer or manufacturer), the service you need, your message, and your agreement to this policy
  • What your browser tells us when you send the form: the page you sent it from and your IP address. We also see the same kind of technical details that any web server sees when a page is loaded
  • What you write to us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp if you contact us directly

Please do not send us information that we do not need to answer you, such as bank details, identity numbers or health information.

03How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and send you a quote
  • plan and carry out a service you ask for, and send you the report
  • send you a short automatic reply to confirm that your message reached us
  • keep the website secure and stop spam and misuse
  • meet legal and accounting duties, and keep a record of our work

We do not use your details for advertising by third parties, and we do not sell them.

04Our legal grounds

Where the law asks us to name a legal ground, it is one of these:

  • your consent, when you tick the box and send the form
  • taking steps at your request before a contract, or carrying out a contract with you
  • our legitimate interest in running a secure website and answering the people who contact us
  • a legal duty that we must follow

If you gave us consent, you may take it back at any time. This does not affect what we did before.

05Who we share it with

Only the people and companies who need it to help us serve you:

  • our own team and the inspectors working on your job
  • service providers that run this website for us, such as our web host and our e-mail delivery provider
  • spam-protection services that keep the form safe, such as Google reCAPTCHA when it is switched on
  • authorities or advisers, when the law requires it or when we need to protect our rights

We ask providers to handle your information carefully and only for the job we give them.

06Outside services this website uses

To work and look right, our pages load a few things from other companies. When your browser loads them, those companies can see your IP address and basic browser details:

  • Google Fonts, for the Poppins typeface
  • the cdnjs content delivery network, run by Cloudflare, for the animation library
  • flagcdn.com, for the country flags in the phone field
  • Google reCAPTCHA, only if spam protection is switched on for the form

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. If we add tools such as analytics or a chat widget, we will list them here.

07Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This website uses the cookies that WordPress and its plugins need in order to work, for example to keep the contact form secure.

Some outside services listed above, such as reCAPTCHA, may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The form and the pages will usually still work, though some parts may not.

If we start using analytics or marketing cookies, we will say so here and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

08How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to run any job that follows, and then for a reasonable time for our records, unless the law says we must keep it longer.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier. We will do so unless we have to keep it by law.

09Keeping it safe

We take sensible steps to protect your information, such as limiting who can see it, using secure connections and keeping our website software up to date. No website or e-mail can be made completely safe, so please share only what is needed.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to limit how we use it, or object to a use
  • ask for your information in a form you can move to someone else
  • take back your consent at any time

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details at the end of this page. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can also complain to the data-protection authority in your country.

11Sending information abroad

Our service providers may keep or process information in countries other than yours, for example where our web host or e-mail provider has its servers. Where the law requires it, we make sure suitable protection is in place.

12Children

This website is for businesses. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If a change is important, we will make it easy to see.
