Getting started
5 questionsSend us the style, quantity, factory and shipping date through the contact form. We reply with the right next step, then plan the visit with you.
The product, the quantity, the factory’s name and city, the shipping date, and your standard if you have one. If you only know part of it, send what you have and we will ask for the rest.
As soon as you know the shipping date. For pre-production and inline checks, the earlier the better, because that is when problems are cheapest to fix.
No. Asking, and hearing what check we would suggest, carries no obligation. You decide after that.
No. We coordinate with the factory and send you the report. You see the result, with photos, without travelling.
Inspections & standards
5 questionsFour: pre-production, inline, final and pre-shipment. Many orders use more than one. If you are unsure which fits, tell us about your order and we will suggest the right one.
Inline happens while production is running, so problems are caught early and are cheap to fix. Final happens when production is finished and the goods are mostly packed. We pull a random sample from the lot and judge it against your standard. That check decides the shipment.
Yes. Send us the checklist, spec sheet or approved sample and we inspect against it. If no standard is set, we use ISO 2859-1 / ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, general level II, with AQL 2.5 for Major and 4.0 for Minor defects, and Critical defects not allowed.
AQL is the most defects a lot can contain and still be accepted. It is an agreed limit, not a promise of zero defects. A stricter AQL means fewer defects are allowed.
It depends on the lot size and the inspection level. As an example, under the usual general level II, a lot of 3,201 to 10,000 pieces means checking 200 pieces. The sample is always picked at random, never chosen by the factory.
Reports & verdicts
4 questionsA clear verdict on the first page, the defects counted by class, measurements, packing and label checks, and photos. You can read it in minutes, then go into the detail if you want to.
PASS: the defects found are below the allowed limit. HOLD: the count sits right on the limit, so you decide whether to ship. FAIL: the limit is passed, or a Critical defect was found.
Yes. The report is written to be clear enough to forward to your buyer or to the factory.
Yes. Ask for one through the contact page and we will send an example.
Products & scope
4 questionsOur focus is textile and apparel: garments, fabrics, home textiles and the trims that go with them. If your product is close to these, just ask.
Tell us what you make. We will say honestly whether we can check it well, and what the check would look like.
Our service is inspection, audit, assessment and improvement at the factory. We do not run laboratory tests. If your buyer requires them, we are happy to explain what to ask for.
Yes. We check small parts, sharp points, loose trims, drawcords and fasteners by inspection. Laboratory tests that a buyer or law requires are done by accredited labs, and we can explain what to ask for.
Audit, assessment & improvement
4 questionsIt looks at how the work is made, not only at what came off the line: workmanship, measurement, process compliance and the quality system behind them. You get a plain list of the gaps, in the order to fix them.
It shows what a supplier can really deliver: their capability, how they perform over time, and whether the fixes they promised were actually carried out.
We find the root cause of a defect, fix it, train your people and track the numbers. The aim is that the same problem does not come back.
CAPA means corrective and preventive action: what a factory does to fix a problem and stop it returning. We check that those actions were really carried out, not only written down.
Working with us
4 questionsYes. We are an independent third party. We report what we see, so the result does not depend on who the factory is.
We serve Bangladesh today, with Dubai and Singapore next. Tell us where your factory is and we will confirm.
It depends on the quantity, the number of factories and where they are. Share your details and we will come back with a clear quote and timing.
We use it to reply to you and to plan your job. If you need a confidentiality agreement, tell us in your message and we will discuss it.
Try a simpler word, or ask us directly. We will reply with the right answer.
Ask us your questionIn plain words
The few termsworth knowing.
Quality work has its own vocabulary. These eight words are enough to read any of our reports.
- AQL
- Acceptable Quality Limit. The most defects a lot can contain and still be accepted. An agreed limit, not a promise of zero defects.
- Lot
- All the pieces of one order, or one style, that are judged together.
- Sample
- The pieces we pull at random from the lot and actually inspect.
- Defect classes
- Critical could harm the wearer and is never allowed. Major is likely to be returned. Minor is small and does not affect use.
- PASS · HOLD · FAIL
- The three possible verdicts. Below the limit, right on the limit, or over the limit.
- CAPA
- Corrective and preventive action. What a factory does to fix a problem and stop it coming back.
- QMS
- Quality management system. How a factory plans, controls and records its quality.
- Root cause
- The real reason a defect happens, not only the symptom you can see.
